ASUS ZenFone 8 series including ZenFone 8 Mini, ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Pro will be officially launched on May 12. However, recently, ZenFone 8 Pro has just appeared in the database of the Bureau of Standards India (BIS), suggesting that this product line may be launched in India sooner than expected.
According to BIS certification, ZenFone 8 Pro has model number ASUS_I007D and codename is VODKA. In terms of specs, the only thing known is that the device will be integrated with the high-end Snapdragon 888 chip.

On the other hand, ASUS has also revealed some information about ZenFone 8 Mini. Reports say the phone will feature a 5.92-inch Full HD + OLED display with a punch hole design and 120Hz refresh rate.
The back of ZenFone 8 Mini is likely to come with a dual camera system with a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. The smartphone could become the most compact phone to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor.
ZenFone 8 Mini is expected to integrate 16GB RAM + 256GB ROM, owns a 4,000 mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. In addition, ZenFone 8 Mini will feature IP68 dust and water resistance.
