You can save a cool $150 on the Nokia 7.1 at Best Buy in one of two ways

The Nokia 7.1 is an often overlooked Android One mid-range device that competes directly against the popular Moto G7 family, shining in the value for money department… especially when fetching less money than usual. Typically priced at $350 in a GSM unlocked variant, the 5.8-incher has recently been on sale for Amazon Prime members only at a decent $100 discount.

The same price cut is now available at Best Buy, but if you don’t have a problem activating the stock Android Pie-running handset on AT&T right off the bat, you can save an additional 50 bucks. That means you’ll need to pay a measly $199.99 for a sleek-looking smartphone made from aluminum and glass, with a more than respectable Snapdragon 636 processor under its hood, as well as 4GB RAM, 64 gigs of internal storage space, and a 3,060mAh battery that promises to keep the lights on for a full day… of “mixed” use.

But there’s also another way to save quite a bit of dough on the Nokia 7.1 at Best Buy right now, and technically, you don’t have to commit to a specific carrier at the exact time of your purchase. If you add the phone to your cart after selecting the “activate later” option and also pick up a $10 AT&T Prepaid SIM kit and $50 AT&T Prepaid refill card, you’ll be charged $259.98 overall, which essentially means you’ll get the Nokia 7.1 at the activation discount without having to meet any special conditions.

Either way, you’re looking at saving around $150 on a product that has a few more things going for it than all the aforementioned strengths. We’re talking a dual rear-facing camera setup with Zeiss optics, a decent 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture, a guarantee of a timely Android Q update, a headphone jack, microSD card slot, and reliable rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
