Oppo and Huawei have become more prominent all over the past year when they introduced super-fast charging technology. And recently, Xiaomi also unveiled their 100W fast charging technology, though only in development.
However, all of these firms have to lose to their compatriot brother Vivo. Through Weibo, Vivo shows off the 120W fast-charging technology they are developing. This new technology is slightly more than Xiaomi's 100W fast charger, which is 3 times faster than Huawei's 40W charger on the Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro and is twice as fast as Oppo's 50W Super VOOC charger.
With a 120W fast charger, Vivo claims they can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 13 minutes. Thus, Vivo smartphone can be fully charged while the fastest charging smartphones in the current market can charge 50%.
Like Xiaomi, Vivo has yet to fix the launch date for smartphones equipped with this super-fast charging feature.
