After 2-3 months of internal testing of Android 10, Xiaomi has now officially released the MIUI 11 version based on the Android 10 core for customers using Mi MIX 2S.
In October 2019, Xiaomi launched the MIUI 11 Stable update for customers who own the Mi MIX 2S device. Although, MIUI 11 version still owns a series of new features, but this update is still based on the old Android 9 Pie operating system core. Not long after that, Xiaomi also tested MIUI 11 on Android 10 for certain users.
It was not until mid-January 2020 that Xiaomi officially started to release the stable MIUI 11 update for Mi MIX 2S users. Based on changelog from Xiaomi indicates that some third-party applications have not been pre-installed due to compatibility issues. However, the small update packages will soon patch on Mi MIX 2S in the near future.
Currently this MIUI 11 version is rolling out to certain markets like China and users around the world will soon receive this update in the next few days.
As mentioned before, MIUI 11 brings a comprehensive dark background to Xiaomi phones, with a clean and bright black tone. In addition, a new font called MiLan Pro has been added, as well as an Ambient display feature for some supported devices. In addition, MIUI 11 offers a collection of sound systems inspired by nature.
