This change leaves the Arctic free of ice in the summer, and global temperatures rise.
2040s: The permafrost in the northern hemisphere melts, the sea level rises. The land that once froze also melted, releasing methane that has caused greenhouse effects around the globe.
2050s: Plastic waste is now more abundant than marine fish. Rising seawater temperatures and increased acidity lead to massive deaths of global coral reefs. Sea fish gradually perished.
2080s: The insects that help pollinate the extinct crops, plus the soil is eroded. A food crisis happened around the globe because demand exceeded supply. Unpredictable, unpredictable global weather.
2100s: The average global temperature is 4 degrees C higher than that of the 21st century.
Most of the land on Earth is no longer viable. Millions of millions of people are nowhere to be found. The 6th major extinction event occurred, humanity gradually perished.
In the old days, it took hundreds of millions of years to happen once a global catastrophe occurred, and today humanity only needs 200 years to do this. What will mankind do to prevent destruction?
