In the United States, the color of a fire hydrant depends on its capacity, meaning the ability to spray gallons of water per minute (GPM). In which, the red color is 500 gallons (1 gallon = 3.79 liters); orange is 500 – 1000 GPM; green is 1000 – 1500 GPM; and lam is over 1500 GPM.

Most commercial airplanes today are covered with white paint. It seems that this is a very obvious fact, but this paint also has a meaning.
