WHO assesses Wuhan’s pneumonia epidemic as an international emergency-united daily

The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday (20th) that an emergency expert committee meeting will be held on Wednesday (22th) to assess whether China’s new coronavirus epidemic constitutes an international emergency.

The outbreak of new coronavirus pneumonia in Wuhan, China has spread to many provinces and cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. China announced on Monday that the number of confirmed cases had risen to 217 and that three people had died.
