Vinacafe Bien Hoa sets a maximum profit target of 500 billion VND in 2018

The Board of Directors asked shareholders to authorize the decision on the rate and method to advance 2018 dividends after paying 660% in cash last year.

Vinacafe Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (Ticker: VCF) has just announced the documents of the 2018 annual shareholder meeting.

The company targets 2018 revenue of 3,100-3,300 billion, after-tax profit attributable to shareholders of the company is 450-500 billion. To achieve this goal, the company plans to develop its instant coffee business with two key products, Vinacafe and Wake-Up; expanding beverage industry based on flagship product Wake-Up 247.


Meanwhile, in 2017, VCF achieved net revenue of VND 3,249 billion and profit after tax of VND 369 billion, a slight decrease of 2% and 3% compared to the previous year results.

The management board said that the cause of the mitigation is to restructure inventories by reducing the amount sold in, increasing the amount sold to increase the strength of the distribution network.

In 2017, VCF approved paying 660% cash dividend to shareholders from January 31, 2018. The total amount paid is about 1,754 billion dong.

The Board of Directors submits to the meeting to approve the advance of dividends in 2018, which will authorize the Board of Directors depending on business results to be decided.
