A Ukrainian passenger plane caught fire abruptly on an airport runway in Egypt on November 9 due to a fuel leak.
Notice from the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority said the incident occurred at the airport in Sharm El-Sheikh city after the aircraft, bearing SQP 7513 number of SkyUp Airlines, departed from Zaporizhia. , southeast Ukraine, landed. Fires have flared up on the oil leaking from the hydraulic system, causing the tires and landing gear to ignite.
Rescuers at the airport quickly put out the fire and did not have any casualties. Currently the cause of the problem has not been announced.
Earlier, at Khabarovsk airport, southeastern Russia, the engine of an Embraer 190 plane preparing to take off also caught fire, however, no one was injured.
