On the last 2-3 / 2, the last race of the Asian Motor Racing (ARRC) 2017 has just closed after 6 exciting rounds, with the participation of two young riders Bui Duy Thong and Cao. Vietnam, Honda Vietnam representative competed in two contents, AP250 and UB150.
Asian Motor Racing (ARRC) is one of the most talented and professional racing competitions to compete in all categories from 130cc Underbone to 600cc Supersports,…. The race has opened a new chapter for this dramatic sport in Asia through 20 competitive seasons. The entire season will consist of 6 rounds taking place at Asia’s largest racetrack, including racetrack: Johor in Malaysia; Chang International in Thailand; Suzuka in Japan; Sentul in Indonesia and Madras in Chennai India.

Bui Duy Thong – young driver 9x
Last year Duy Thong participated in the Asia Dream Cup content, the same content with the same capacity of 250cc, although it was the first time attending but finished the season at 17/20 with 42.5 points, especially last year Duy Thong also The most impressive career to date is the Asia Dream Cup in Suzuka, Japan. So the result of Bui Duy Thong achieved so far made him and the racing team quite disappointed.
Bui Duy Thong comes in at number 31/33
This year, young racer Bui Duy Thong was born in 95 and once again represented Honda Vietnam in the competition of AP250 (Asia Production), at the last stage of the Chang International racecourse in Thailand, the day of the competition. The most of Bui Duy Thong took place with the fierce competition as usual with 33 riders.
Bui Duy Thong comes in at number 31/33. With this position, Duy Thong could hardly make any big surprises. The driver finished the last 2 days of competition with the positions of 25/33 and 26/33.
Although pretty, despite failing in the last place, but on the Duy Thong race without DNF and DNS, Duy Thong attended 10 rounds without encountering any accidents and always completing the race. race. While last year in the content of Asia Dream Cup, Duy Thong had 3 times failed to finish the race after the first 10 rounds. This is clearly a significant improvement of Duy Thong.
Cao Việt – juniors come later
Cao Vietnam was born in 96 – the driver appeared three times after Bui Duy Thong, the youngest driver, last year he impressed with 6 points achieved then ended the ARRC 2016 season in the UB130 with 22 points, a very good achievement for a 20-year-old rookie attending the tournament for the first time.
Entering the ARRC 2017 season, UB130 content has been replaced with UB150 and Cao Vietnam content is the only representative of Vietnam to attend this format. Continuing the performance of 2016, Cao Vietnam has a good start at the first competition day of Johor Baru, Malaysia. However, it was unfortunate for Cao Vietnam when he had a terrible accident at the second competition day of this stage. The accident caused him a serious injury and could not complete the next match in Thailand. After 2 weeks, Cao Vietnam recovered from the 3rd stage in Japan, but the injury seems to have seriously affected the driving feeling and performance of Cao Vietnam. After the injury he could no longer maintain his pace and his performance was modest.
At the end of last season, with a low starting position as well as real limitations of qualifications, he still maintained the 13th position after two days of competition.
The 2017 ARRC season has ended and the two Vietnamese riders have gained valuable experience. Hopefully, in the new season, Vietnamese racing can see more sublimation from young riders like Bui Duy Thong and Cao Vietnam.
