Trump said he was ready to publish a transcript of a phone conversation that took place in April with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"We can give it to you on Monday or Tuesday," the US president told reporters on Nov. 9 as he prepared to step on Air Force One. "We are about to publish another very important record. They asked for it and I happily handed it over."

Trump hinted at the release of the transcript of the conversation with reporters on November 8. This is thought to be a concern of the impeachment investigation conducted by the US President in the House of Representatives.
Trump previously published a record of his phone conversation with the Ukrainian President on July 25, confirming the document would help prove he was not pressuring him to eliminate rival Joe Biden.
"Read the transcript, you will understand the conversation," Trump said, referring to the April phone call. "I will give you the second record because I actually have two calls with the President of Ukraine. Please read the content of the second call and tell me if there was any wrongdoing. "
The House of Representatives committee began a impeachment investigation on Trump on September 24 after a whistleblower accused the US president of urging the President of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, who had previously worked. at Burisma energy company of Ukraine. Trump and his confidants suspect the former US vice president used power while in office to help Burisma from being subject to criminal investigation.
Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate, is said to be a major rival of Trump in the race to the White House in 2020.
