Tinder dating application today officially announced plans to expand markets to Asian countries, including Vietnam through a lighter version of Tinder on Android called Tinder Lite. This application is 25 times smaller than the mainstream application, but still retains the most core values of Tinder, but typically swipe left to skip and swipe right to love. Tinder said Tinder Lite will operate faster, consume less battery power and reduce mobile data consumption. Initially, Tinder Lite users will not have the Tinder Plus or Gold package upgraded yet, but the company says it will be updated soon.
Currently Tinder Lite application has appeared on the Play Store Vietnam in the form of "coming soon" and we are also one of the first markets to be deployed, other places in Asia will be applied respectively. Of course, users will still be able to use the existing Tinder account for the Tinder Lite application. The company said it is part of a plan to reach new markets and Asia will be where they focus. By releasing a lighter application, the company hopes to reach more Asian users who are using older Android devices, which are also slower and more expensive than many other countries.
