The successor of Realme GT 5G will be equipped with the most powerful configuration with Snapdragon 895 chip

( Realme recently announced the Realme GT 5G globally. However, just over 2 weeks after the product was launched, Realme President Wang Wei Derek shared on Weibo about the plan to launch the Realme GT 2.

According to him, the successor to the Realme GT 5G is ready for production and is expected to come with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor.

Specifically, the President of Realme confirmed on Weibo that Realme GT 2 will be equipped with Snapdragon 895 chip processor. However, it is known that Qualcomm will officially launch Snapdragon 895 in the fourth quarter of this year. Thus, if If the production plan goes smoothly, it can be said that the successor of Realme GT 5G will be the first smartphone model equipped with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor this year.

In addition to the plan with the above product model, Realme is also starting to improve another version called Realme GT Master Edition. Some reports also reveal that Realme may partner with Veteran, Kodak to upgrade the camera for its phones.

Realme GT 2 will be the perfect successor to the GT series launched on June 15. Realme GT 5G has a 6.43-inch screen, Full HD + resolution, supports 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The device also owns Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 888 processor currently with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM.


On the back, Realme GT 5G owns 3 cameras with a 64 MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, an 8 MP super wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. The device also has a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 65 W fast charging.
