Ukraine offered to stop speculating on the Middle East situation after a plane crash in Iran.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently called on the public to stop speculating on the situation in the Middle East after a plane crash of an Ukrainian international airline carrying 168 passengers and nine crews in Iran. Zelensky said Kiev was ready to repatriate the victims’ bodies in the incident.

Zelensky said the Ukrainian government would send special aircraft to transport victims back to Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine soon issued a statement expressing his condolences to the victims’ relatives in the accident. Mr Zelensky is on a trip to Oman and has shortened his time to return to Kiev.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Vadim Pristayko, gave the first information about the victims of the disaster as citizens from 7 countries.
“So far, we have been informed of the number of nationals present on PS 752 flight including: Iran – 82; Canada – 63; Ukraine – 2 + 9 (crew); Sweden – 10; Afghanistan – 4; Germany – 3; United Kingdom – 3. We would like to express our deep condolences. The Ukrainian government is continuing to investigate the case “- the announcement from Mr. Pristayko.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Andreassey Goncharuk said the work needed to “find out the cause of the tragedy was held”. According to Prime Minister Goncharuk, the Ukrainian consul is working at the scene.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Ukraine, the plane crashed without giving an emergency signal before it crashed.

The Boeing 737-800 of Ukraine international airline crashed after taking off a few minutes in Iran en route to Kiev.
Fars news agency quoted international airport management Imam Khomeini as saying the plane had a technical problem. However, flight data shows that the Boeing 737-800 disappears after reaching an altitude of 2.4 km.

Meanwhile, IRNA news agency quoted a spokesman for Tehran airport as saying that technical problems caused the fire, causing the Boeing to crash.
“The Ukrainian plane took off at Tehran airport this morning on its way to Kiev, but its engine ignited due to a technical problem that caused it to crash near the airport, south of Tehran,” the official said.
