“There are going to be disputes, because vaccination is much more intrusive. A lot of people are against the vaccine. Rights and freedoms come into play, as does the right to refuse treatment, ”says François-David Bernier.
The COVID vaccine passport, which would allow Quebecers to attend certain events, for example, would be legal, argues the lawyer.
“It is justified in my opinion. We are in a global pandemic and people want to start living again. If we can get the vaccine easily, it won’t be discriminatory. ”
