(Techz.vn) The first information about Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has begun to be revealed with a huge configuration and buffalo battery.

Today, Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 received important certification in terms of battery revealing it has a capacity of 8,520 mAh. Along with that, in a recent Weibo post, several Mi Fans received an answer from Wang Teng Thomas, Redmi Product Manager. In it, Thomas confirmed that the Mi Pad 5 is expected to launch in the second half of the year. This shows that the Mi Pad 5 product line may not be released until July.

Xiaomi’s Mi Pad series is designed to compete with Apple’s iPad, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, and Huawei’s MediaPad. Rumors suggest that Xiaomi is likely to release the higher-end Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro but speculations suggest a third model might be available. The Pro version is rumored to have a 2K LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

Previously leaked render images show that the upcoming Xiaomi tablet will use three cameras like that of the Xiaomi MI 11. Other rumors suggest that the Mi Pad 5 could be equipped with a Snapdragon 870 chip while the Pro has may be included with MediaTek Dimensity 1200.
