While many manufacturers are naturally accepting fan status on the X570 chipset, Gigabyte wants to find a different direction.
A little while ago, Vietgame.asia introduced you to a Gigabyte AORUS fanless motherboard product, which is the Gigabyte AORUS X570 XTREME motherboard model, showing that the company wants to find a different approach for fan cooling problem on X570 chipset, so recently when it announced it will support up to three profiles for fan cooling on the Gigabyte X570 BIOS then it is not uncommon.
According to the company, some customers recently complained that the cooling fan on the operating chipset caused noise even when other components such as heat sinks on the CPU and graphics card were switched to "silent" mode. Quiet "with the fan completely inactive when the load is low.
That's why Gigabyte AORUS continued to research to release updates for these Gigabyte X570 BIOS to be able to bring the chipset fan to three different operating modes with three profiles depending on the user selected.
Accordingly, these three profiles are:
- Silent mode: The chipset fan will operate at extremely low rpm, almost inactive when the chipset is less loaded.
- Balance mode: The chipset fan will operate at medium speed, without causing any significant noise when the machine is operating
- Performace mode: The chipset fan will operate at maximum capacity to cool the chipset and surrounding components.
