The football club offered to sign Khabib Nurmagomedov

Having just offered to change to become a professional player, Khabib Nurmagomedov received an invitation from a famous Russian football club.

Last October, after defeating Justin Gaethje, the reigning weightweight champion Lightweight UFC Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement from martial arts. Recently, he continued to make fans flutter and curious when posting a video of running on the beach with the caption:

“I am preparing for my soccer debut. I am a free player, ready to join any team.

Soon, the 32-year-old boxer received an invitation from Kamaz FC. This club is currently participating in the Russian Professional Football League (PFL), the 3rd largest soccer tournament in Russia. Kamaz FC is currently only 4 points behind the top of the table.

Kamaz FC expressed his wish to recruit Khabib Nurmagomedov and officially invited him on Intagram.

“Welcome Khabib. We want to invite you to our team for your debut. PFL is another UFC, but in football. Every match is a winning target for us. We are an ambitious team with a mission to reach FNL. We invite you to train in Novorossiysk, from February 12 to March 5, 2021, “they wrote.

The PFL later supported Kamaz FC’s decision with a Twitter post: “We have prepared for you a certification for @TeamKhabib. If all goes well, you just need to fill in the date to finish.

Currently, there is no information about whether Khabib will accept the invitation or not.
