On February 16, 2021, Motorola quietly released two completely new mid-range smartphones, the Motorola Moto G10 and the Moto G30. While both devices are affordable, there are many standout features that you should not ignore. In today’s post, I will give my first impressions of this product duo.
Note: Since both the Motorola Moto G10 and the Moto G30 don’t have too many differences, I decided to leave the two with the same article.

1. Motorola Moto G10 / G30 owns screens with impressive quality
In terms of parameters, Motorola Moto G10 and Moto G30 both own 6.5-inch IPS LCD panels, a fairly long 20: 9 aspect ratio and HD + resolution (700 x 1,600 pixels). To talk about display quality, we expect the screens on both devices to deliver just enough detail. Although the colors will not be vivid due to the use of the IPS LCD panel, the viewing angle will be a bit limited, but since it is a 4-5 million smartphone, I will not ask for anything more.
But I am especially impressed with the Moto G30 because with only about 5 million, we have a smartphone with a screen refresh rate up to 90 Hz. From there, the experience of using, touching, entertainment, reading content, .. on the Motorola Moto G30 will be very smooth, ensuring you will enjoy it.
In addition, both the Moto G10 and G30 have a waterdrop screen design, the surrounding screen is a bit thick, but I think the display experience on the device will not be affected too much, guys. Regardless, both Motorola’s new smartphones have large screen sizes up to 6.5 inches, so the Moto G10 and G30 will be great for playing games or watching movies.
2. Motorola Moto G10 / G30 are all equipped with powerful ‘dragon’ chips
Despite being a mid-range device, fortunately both the Moto G10 and the Moto G30 are equipped with a Snapdragon chip, thereby providing a stable performance. Specifically, Moto G10 owns Snapdragon 460 processor, comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB internal memory. The Moto G30 is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 chip, 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory only. Both have slots for adding microSD cards up to 512 GB.
I have experienced these two chips through a few smartphones and must say that the performance of both is very stable and smooth, but the Snapdragon 460 will have lagging. I agree that each smartphone is optimized for performance in different ways, but I expect that both the Moto G10 (running Snapdragon 460) and the Moto G30 (running Snapdragon 662) have good enough performance. manage daily tasks, study / work or have fun with today’s popular games, watch videos, ..
Besides the performance, I am also quite impressed with the 5,000 mAh battery capacity on both machines. Although I do not have a device to experience the reality, I believe that both new smartphones from Motorola’s house can withstand more than 1 and a half days of use with normal tasks.
The reason I say so is because the Moto G10 and G30 both run on the Motorola UX interface (based on Android 11) but do not customize too deeply, thereby reducing unnecessary features that drain the battery. In addition, both the Snapdragon 460 and 662 on the Moto G10 and G30 are Qualcomm’s new chips, helping to optimize energy consumption and increase the battery life of the device.
3. The design of Motorola Moto G10 / G30 is very solid, durable
If we talk about the exterior design, both Motorola Moto G10 and G30 are almost similar, with the same rear camera placement, the same material is plastic (from the chassis to the back). But I am more impressed with the Moto G10 because the device has a prominent diagonal stripe pattern, which partly helps create an accent and the holding experience will be safer and more secure.
The Moto G30 is smooth so I don’t like it very much and the device looks pretty normal on the outside, except for the color options of the device (Phantom Black and Pastel Sky) that look very prominent. But in return, Motorola Moto G30 is equipped with IP52 water and dust resistance (of course, the Moto G10).
I was really surprised with the fact that both machines are equipped with IP52 water and dust resistance because compared to competitors in the same segment with Moto G30 as Vivo Y50, Galaxy A21s, … or competitors like Moto G10 like Nokia 5.4, Redmi Note 8, … are not water or dust resistant at all. This is a huge plus point for two representatives from Motorola, I personally think.
4. The price of the Moto G10 / G30 is very attractive, extremely affordable
I don’t know if both the Moto G10 and the Moto G30 will be sold in Vietnam, but in front of me, both devices are incredibly affordable. Specifically, Motorola Moto G10 has a starting price of 150 Euro (about 4.1 million VND), while Motorola Moto G30 will be 180 Euro (about 5 million VND).
I must say this is an extremely affordable price considering the features of both the Moto G10 and G30. Just over 4 million we have a smartphone with a beautiful screen (even 90 Hz with the Moto G30 model), stable performance and durable design, including IP52 water and dust resistance. , what could be better than that?
In general, I see Motorola Moto G10 and G30 are both fairly comprehensive mid-range models and maybe these two smartphones will help Motorola dominate the mid-range smartphone market? What do you think about the Motorola Moto G10 and Motorola Moto G30? Please leave your comments in the comments section, thank you for taking the time to read your article.
