Cuphead, an action-adventure game inspired by classic animated movies, is posted on Netflix with the name The Cuphead Show!
One million copies sold after just two weeks of release, Cuphead – the game of the Moldenhauer brothers has just been announced to have a separate animation program on Netflix, called The Cuphead Show!.
Undertake production The Cuphead Show! are Netflix and King Features Syndicate, a subsidiary of Hearst Entertainment & Syndication, with images inspired by classic 20th-century animated movies like Mickey Mouse, Popeye, Swing You Sinners!.
CJ Kettler from King Features with brothers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will take the role of production director for the series. Made primarily by Netflix Animation, with Dave Wasson (produced Mickey Mouse Shorts) and Cosmo Segurson (production Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling) worked together as a production vice president.
The Cuphead Show! will expand more about the lives of the Cuphead and Mugman brothers, talking about their mistakes and interesting journeys. In addition, the official press release also states that this is a comedy, with a deep sense of brotherhood and solidarity.
Cuphead is a cult adventure game with tremendous difficulty, built and developed independently by Studio MDHR – a studio created by the Moldenhauer brothers.
Although this is their debut product, the game has quickly won many prestigious awards such as The Game Awards, Steam Awards, Annie Awards and Dice Awards. After the success of Cuphead, MDHR Studio is currently developing an expansion pack as well as the end of the title game Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, launched in 2020.
Despite the launch date of The Cuphead Show! is still a mystery but the program has appeared on Netflix's movie list. Cuphead now available on Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
