Microsoft has just released a free Windows application using Windows Machine Learning to evaluate the ability to “act” faces through Emoji called Emoji8. This application can guess the facial expression you are making when imitating an emoji. The more a user creates an emoji-like facial expression, the higher the score will be.
According to Microsoft, this application was created with the main purpose of helping users understand more about artificial intelligence, Machine Learning with an easier approach.
Players will imitate an emoticon (emoji) provided by the application. It then analyzes the video from the computer’s webcam and scores it. In addition, Emoji8 also gives users the option to create animations with some very interesting and unique facial expressions to share on Twitter.
The application will score points depending on the similarity between the user’s facial expressions and the Emoji icon.
