Check Modem, Router
This will be the first way to fix the failure to access the network after many attempts to turn off and on again, disconnect the network connection in the network menu on the computer. Most users will try to restart the router or modem when the wifi is out of reach, or at least unplug the network cable connected from the switch when their computer is out of network.
Once you’ve restarted your router, notice if the flashing lights on the router are working. Next type the command “ipconfig“and find the information under the Ethernet adapter for wired networks or under the Wireless LAN Adapter section for wifi.
Then, enter 2 commands one by one ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew so that your computer is assigned a new valid IP address.
Run the Ping and Tracert commands
If you have re-issued the IP address but the network is still unable to access, it is probably because the router is connected to the Internet.
To fix it, type the command “ping 184.108.40.206“in the window Windows PowerShell (Admin) go to Google’s DNS servers to see if the computer can connect to the Internet or not. Typing “ping 220.127.116.11” command to Google’s DNS servers will send 4 packets to Google.
If it fails, you will receive notification of which packet has encountered a problem while sending. Next you can type the command tracert 18.104.22.168 to track the path of each packet between your computer and Google’s DNS servers.
