The version using the Core i5 chip reduces the amount of RAM to 8GB but keeps the SSD capacity at 1TB. Both versions are equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS touch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

XPG Xenia Xe owns a minimalist and neutral design language. The surface of the body of the laptop is smooth, with a system of heat sinks located on the bottom and back edges and the connection ports divided equally on the two sides. The laptop is not printed with many brands, mainly in the only XPG logo located on the lid. Located on the keyboard set, there is also a ventilation slot system, this is a design not often found in even the best Ultrabook lines on the market.

XPG Xenia Xe owns a fairly thin size despite being a high-performance work laptop. The machine is equipped with many connection ports and is placed in a convenient location. The left side of the laptop is equipped with 1 Thunderbolt 4 port, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port and 1 HDMI port. XPG Xenia Xe is equipped with Intel Core i7-1165G7 chip. In this article, we will compare the performance of the machine with the Razer Book 13 and the MSI Prestige 14 Evo, both equipped with a more powerful chip, the Intel Core i7-1185G7. The machine has very good multitasking performance, allowing me to easily interact with more than 30 Chrome tabs without any lag.

Using Geekbench 5 to measure the overall performance of laptop models, Xenia Xe has single- and multi-core performance scores of 1583 and 5784 respectively. This result is just enough to beat competitors including including competitors. including the MSI Prestige 14 Evo (1563 and 5660 points) and the Razer Book 13 (1556 and 5495 points).

In the data exchange speed test, with the aim of measuring the speed with which the machine can copy a file weighing 25GB, the Xenia Xe achieved outstanding results compared to other models. The SSD of the machine has an average data exchange rate of 1211.9 MBps, faster than the Prestige 14 Evo (999.3 MBps) and Razer Book 13 (479 MBps).

In the video transcoding speed test with the Handbrake application, Xenia Xe completed the conversion of a video at 4K to 1080p in 13 minutes and 36 seconds. This completion time is faster than the Razer Book 13 (14 minutes 46 seconds), but worse than the Prestige 14 Evo (12 minutes 27 seconds).

In the brightness test, both Xenia Xe and Razer Book 13 models have similar brightness indexes, with the recorded result of 436 nit. Surface Laptop 4 is the laptop that comes in second with a brightness index of 334 nit, while the Prestige 14 Evo comes in last with a result of 284 nit.

XPG Xenia Xe is equipped with a full-size keyboard. The keys of the keyboard set have a 1.2 mm deep travel, which is a bit low compared to the standard level in the market, which somewhat reduces the actual input experience.

The chassis area of ​​XPG Xenia Xe has a slightly higher temperature, recorded at 34.4 degrees Celsius. The location with the highest temperature of XPG Xenia Xe in this test is in the area of ​​​​the air vents, with the highest level. The measured temperature is 44 degrees Celsius.

XPG pre-loads several utility software into Xenia Xe, including Intel’s Graphics Command Center, NUC Software Studio, and NUC Audio Studio. Intel Graphics Command Center is an application that allows users to manually change settings related to the display, set up keyboard shortcuts to cycle through different screen settings, and record screen videos.

NUC Software Studio allows users to set up facial recognition via webcam, from which the laptop will automatically turn on or off if you get close.
