Sony is about to revive the small size Android Xperia Compact?

This image, published by leaker OnLeaks, is said to be of a small-sized Android device that Sony will revive since the XZ2 Compact launched in 2018. Accordingly, the upcoming Sony device will have a 5.5-inch screen, ie is larger than the recently launched small-sized machine, the iPhone 12 MIni, but promises to be at the forefront of the current Android world’s small machine trend.

It is still too early to know the configuration of the small Android device that Sony launched, but it is said that it will be equipped with dual camera (one of which has 13MP resolution) and 8MP Selfie camera. placed in the notch in the front screen, especially there will be a 3.5mm headphone port. Similar to many Sony devices running Android before, this device is also expected to have a fingerprint sensor built into the screen on off button.

There is no word on an official release date for the small Sony device, but it is expected that it will be released in February and sold elsewhere in the year as a rule of thumb.

And of course, it is still too early to know how the market will react to the small machine that Sony is about to launch. Data from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners say that iPhone 12 Mini sales from October to November last year accounted for only 6% of iPhone 12 sales. However, that may change in the new context, especially if there is one. Maybe Sony will be able to attract more new users who need a compact, full-featured phone that isn’t an iPhone.
