In the second half of 2021, Realme, Oppo and Oneplus are expected to prepare to bring 125W super fast charging technology to commercial smartphones.
Realme shocked the world last year with the introduction of the 125W super-fast charge. This technology is demonstrated with the ability to fill a 4000 mAh battery from 0% to 33% in just 3 minutes.
According to Gizmochina, a report from China recently confirmed the trio of Oppo, Realme and OnePlus will be launching smartphones with 125W super fast charging in the second half of this year. This smartphone will be suitable for power sources from 100 – 240v and supports many different fast charging standards such as VOOC, Dart, Warp, SuperVOOC, SuperVOOC 2.0, SuperDart, PPS 125W, PD 65W and QC 36W.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme in the Indian and European markets, introduced and demonstrated the 125W super fast charger in Europe. But for some reason, Realme has yet to officially launch the product.
Previously, many rumors suggested that the Realme GT 5G smartphone will come with support for 125W fast charging, but at launch the product only had 65W charging. The technology world is currently waiting for smartphones with super fast charging to launch.
