On May 31 in Da Lat, Viettel IDC cooperated with Dell – EMC to organize the workshop "Building e-Government and Smart City based on Cloud computing", with the attendance of nearly 100 representatives from 10 provinces in the Central Highlands and the South Central Coast. The workshop introduced the application solutions and IT infrastructure on the cloud computing platform serving the deployment of e-government and smart cities.

At the event, Viettel IDC introduced many solutions suitable to the needs of deploying smart cities, e-government and ensuring the sustainable development of organizations such as: data center infrastructure, lowering Private cloud layer on the super convergence platform, smart urban solutions, Center for ATT monitoring (SOC), and especially surveillance camera application for artificial intelligence (AI Camera). The solutions that Viettel IDC brought to the seminar were all solutions implemented by Viettel IDC for e-government model and smart city in many provinces across the country.

Participating in the workshop, representatives of the provinces have shared some experiences in the process of speeding up digital transformation, building and implementing smart cities, reforming public administration in their units and localities. Sharing of agencies and organizations about the inadequacies of the old IT model and the advantages of new IT solutions based on cloud computing are drawn from practical implementation, bringing an objective view, contributing to helping provinces and cities can deploy the construction of e-government in the most effective and optimal way.
The workshop expects to open up new directions of infrastructure development on cloud computing for Departments, industries and businesses, promising strong changes in the near future in the fields of Health, Education, Transportation, Public Administration, … in the provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central.
