At least 4 people were killed and others injured in a horrific shootings during a Halloween party in Orinda, California, USA on October 30 (local time).
According to initial information, a black man in an orange shirt unleashed multiple shots from a weapon that appeared to be a machine gun, entered the party house and fled the scene.
Police received a message about a person firing a gun at attendees at 22h45. Six ambulances were immediately rushed to the house because of the news of many deaths and injuries.
According to some newspapers, hundreds of people were present at the party at the time and they frantically sought a way out of danger. This has made it more difficult for paramedics. Some even jumped down from the balcony and the second floor windows of the building.
Many victims went to nearby hospitals because of bullet wounds and injuries from fleeing. An air ambulance was also called to the scene.
On the evening of October 29, shootings also occurred at a Halloween party in Long Beach, California, killing 3 people and injuring 9 others. The suspect is still on the run.
