Shine with AMD: Asus ROG launches Zephyrus G14 and other high-performance notebooks

The domestic name of this product is Magic 14, which focuses on thin, light, efficient and trendy designs. Among them, the notebook back cover of the ROG Magic 14 Aurora Edition uses CNC technology. 6536 precise perforations are added to the back cover. The display function provided by the internal 1215 white mini LEDs can provide 256 levels of brightness control.
Users can display animated GIFs and other graphics or display text messages through the Pandora light display matrix. In addition, the Pandora light display matrix can also be synchronized with music and other audio to display unique graphics, providing a very creative platform for players to play. According to ROG, additional features will be added to the Pandora light display matrix by the end of the first quarter of 2020, including displaying system notifications and displaying date, time, and battery power.
In terms of volume, the Magic 14 is also very well controlled. It is thin to 17.9 mm and weighs about 1.6 kg. It is quite good for a 14-inch small steel cannon product.
In the configuration of most concern, the Magic 14 debuts the Ryzen 4000H series of standard pressure processors with up to 8 cores and 16 threads. The graphics card also launches the 65W RTX 2060 Max-Q, which packs two high-performance products into a 14-inch volume. . The memory supports up to 32G DDR4-3200MHz. The Magic 14 has a battery life of up to 10 hours or more, and can be charged by a portable power source through the Type-C interface on the fuselage.
On the screen, two optional screens of WQHD 60Hz and FHD 120Hz can support Freesync technology. After Pantone color certification, the color gamut can cover 100% sRGB and Delta E <2.
In addition to the illusion 14 for the trend group, ROG also updated its game line ROG Gunslinger 4 and Ice Blade 4 Plus.
As the first laptop with a 300Hz refresh rate display, the Ice Blade 4 Plus even surpassed the fastest gaming desktop display. After CES, ROG transplanted a 300Hz panel to Gunslinger 4, and it also won the CES 2020 Innovation Award.
In addition to breakthroughs in screen refresh rates, ROG recently added a factory color calibration with PANTONE certification to ensure that the colors presented by the display are faithful to the industry standard color palette. Plus color accuracy was measured using delta E to measure the difference between displayed and expected colors. By sampling the display in large numbers, the ROG factory calibration reduced the average delta E by at least 40%, thus significantly improving color fidelity.
Almost all ultra-thin gaming laptops in the Ice Blade series now come with PANTONE-certified displays, making this series ideal for gamers and creators alike.
