Satisfying Koeman, Barca paved the way for Messi to ‘giant’

With the retention of Koeman and recruiting players at the disposal of the Dutch coach, Barca can make Messi leave the shirt in the summer transfer market.

After officially retaining Ronald Koeman, Barca is aggressively hunting for contracts in the transfer market at the disposal of the Dutch coach, most notably the duo Georginio Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay.

If Wijnaldum has been lifted by PSG, the Depay deal is expected to cause trouble at the Nou Camp. Sheet Diario Gol affirmed that Messi does not want Barca to recruit the captain of the Dutch team and if that really happens, it is not excluded that the Argentine superstar will choose to leave.

Currently on the transfer market, two teams are ready to sign the Argentine superstar, PSG and Man City. However, when he decided to keep both Neymar and Mbappe, it was difficult for the rich Frenchman to pay Messi’s salary.

With Manchester City, the feasibility of the deal is higher. The Etihad Stadium team has just lost the Champions League final and definitely needs to strengthen to return. Unfortunately for Man City when their No. 1 target, Erling Haaland seems to be joining Chelsea and then, Pep Guardiola will most likely return to the Messi deal.

Last summer when El Pulga decided to leave Barca, Man City came very close to the 33-year-old superstar but then everything fell apart at the last minute.
