Statistics show that since the launch at the end of last year, Samsung has sold more than 8,000 QLED 8K TVs in the Korean market. This is equivalent to 1% of the market share and can be said to be a successful start for the Korean electronics company.
Samsung said the demand for high-resolution TVs is increasing in Korea, besides the large-size models are still popular among users. Specifically, 70% of buyers of 8K QLED TVs in Korea choose an 82-inch version.
Samsung is not the only company that has an 8K TV, but its product lines are currently being sold widely. LG has also recently started selling 8K OLED TV models, while Sony Bravia Z9G has not yet reached a date for users.
