(Techz.vn) Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ may have a big change in the photography system.
Galaxy S21 and S21 + have the same camera system as the S20 generation. However, according to the latest leaked sources, this will not be repeated for the S22 generation as Samsung will change its philosophy for next year’s models.
The camera of the S20/S21 has a 12 MP main sensor with large pixels and a 64 MP sensor for zooming. The large pixels on the main cam enable high-quality night photography, while the high-resolution module offers the option to take full-resolution photos without zoom as well as record 8K video.
For Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ things will be different. They will have a 50MP main camera, a 12MP telephoto module with a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
This does not mean the end of large pixels. Samsung will still equip a large 1/1.12″ sensor with 50 MP resolution with 1.4 1,4m original pixels, which can be increased to 2.8 µm with image stitching. The devices can record 8K video as well as operate in 100 MP mode.
Thus, Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 + will probably be smartphones with a hugely changed camera system that makes it easier for users to get better photos.
