At the launch event of the K20 and K20 Pro smartphones, Redmi also unveiled the RedmiBook 14 laptop model with quite impressive parameters compared to the price.
RedmiBook 14 has a 14-inch screen with Full HD resolution. This screen has a fairly thin border, only 5.75mm, so it accounts for 81.2% of the lid. Redmi also equips its laptop with anti-glare feature, ensuring good use in daylight conditions.
Redmi laptop weight is only 1.5kg and it is equipped with full size keyboard. Unlike the MacBook, the RedmiBook 14 has a lot of connectivity ports, including an HDMI port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB 2.0 port.
Inside the RedmiBook 14 chassis is an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card. Users can also choose cheaper versions with Core i5 chips. The device is equipped with an SSD with a maximum capacity of 512GB. RedmiBook 14 has Smart Unlock 2.0 feature, allowing users to unlock the device in just 1.2 seconds with Mi Band 3.
Other features include DTS audio and pre-installed Microsoft Office Hone and Studient licenses.
The price of RedmiBook 14 is CNY 3,999 (13.4 million) for Core i5 + SSD 256 GB, 4,299 CNY (14.4 million) for i5 + 512GB and CNY 4,999 (16.8 million) for i7 + 512GB . The device will be sold for the first batch at 12 am on June 11 in Chinese time.
