Accordingly, the 23-year-old star has balanced Sir Bobby Charlton’s performance in the 1964/65 season when he became an English striker to score 8 goals in a season for Manchester United in the European arena.

Rashford has reached this impressive achievement after 11 appearances for MU in the Champions League and Europa League. Specifically, the English striker had 6 goals in the Champions League and 2 goals in the Europa League (including the goal against Granada).

In addition, with this goal, Rashford also became the fourth player of the Premier League to score more than 20 goals on all fronts in the 2020/21 season. Above Marcus Rashford are Bruno Fernandes (23 goals), Mohamed Salah (27 goals) and Harry Kane (29 goals).
