Multi-platform play feature will be available in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds from next October.
That is the information recently announced by PUBG Corp at the Gamescom conference. Specifically, players of PUBG on two console platforms are PS4 and Xbox One will be paired to play together.
According to the Engadget, PUBG will start testing to update the server to play multi-platform at the end of September. After a week of testing, if it works well, it will officially apply. There are very few games available for PS4 and Xbox One, so only Fortnite, Dauntless and Rocket League are available.
PUBG Corp also promised to try to update the new version to the console faster. PUBG's fourth season will be available on consoles from August 27, and future updates will be available for 2 weeks on the back of the PC.
