According to data from the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, in the first 6 months of 2019, this locality has attracted more than 4.25 million international visitors, an increase of nearly 11% over the same period last year.

Tourism revenue including revenue from travel, hotels and restaurants is estimated at VND 73,000 billion, up 16.6% compared to the same period in 2018.

In the first six months of 2019, the capital of Hanoi welcomed nearly 14.4 million tourists, including more than 3.3 million international visitors. According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the total revenue from tourism in recent years is estimated at more than VND 50,000 billion, up 29.8% over the same period in 2018.

In particular, revenue from accommodation services reached more than 3,2566 billion VND, revenue from catering services was 6,820 billion VND and 938 billion VND from travel and tourism support services.

Revenue from consumer services was estimated at 9,205 billion Dong, up more than 12% over the same period.

The agency said that the number of international visitors using the 4-5-star accommodation service in Danang tends to decrease. The influx of guests using 1-2 star hotels even motels is rising.

According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, this local tourism revenue reached more than 11,000 billion VND in the last 6 months, up 12% over the same period.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau province has welcomed about 8.46 million tourists in the first 6 months of this year, an increase of more than 29% over the same period last year.

According to the information from the provincial Department of Tourism, the total revenue from tourism in the past time is estimated at VND 8,646 billion, an increase of nearly 18% compared to the same period in 2018.

Kien Giang Province with the famous Phu Quoc has welcomed more than 4.29 million tourists, an increase of 9% compared to the first half of 2018. Of which, there are about 405,500 international visitors, an increase of 28.2% over the same period. . Tourism revenue reached over 4,268 billion Dong, up to 42.6% over the same period.

The majority of Kien Giang’s tourism revenue comes from Phu Quoc Island. In the past 6 months, more than 2.26 million tourists have come to the pearl island, bringing in more than 3,829 billion dong in revenue.
