To test the laptop’s heat dissipation, we let the machine run 1 HD video for 15 minutes. After this period of time, the G15’s chassis area has a recorded temperature of 38 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, in places where your hands directly touch during use, namely the keyboard and touchpad , has a temperature of 30 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Dell G15 5515: Battery life
The Dell G15 5155 has a mid-range battery life when compared to other product lines in the same segment. Specifically, the laptop lasted 7 hours and 15 minutes after surfing the web continuously using a wifi network, with the screen brightness set at 150 nit.
