The cooperation memorandum shows that Pinduoduo and Qingdao will jointly carry out the action of “Going to the sea and buying e-purchase Qingdao” to help Qingdao enterprises expand orders and stabilize production capacity.
Earlier on March 25 and April 8, Pinduoduo successively reached similar cooperation agreements with Ningbo and Wuhan, such as launching product channels with local characteristics and helping local enterprises to drive domestic demand orders. In the cooperation with Ningbo, Pinduoduo stated that more than 15,000 Ningbo enterprises will participate in the coming year. It is expected to drive local companies to achieve annual sales of more than 80 billion yuan on Pinduoduo’s platform, and to achieve foreign trade to domestic demand market orders exceeding 20 billion yuan.

In addition, Todoh University will establish a “new consumption college” in China, Japan and South Korea with Qingdao Qianwan Free Trade Zone. The college will land in Qingdao Free Trade Zone. The first batch of e-commerce training courses for Japanese and Korean enterprises is expected to start at the end of May. For enterprises that have settled in Pinduoduo platform and meet the relevant conditions, Qingdao will provide tax exemption policies for the free trade zone.
