1. How to rotate text in Photoshop
Open or start a new Photoshop project. If you are starting a project, select Tools Text Tool (Shortcut T) and enter text.
After you finish preparing the text, select Tools Move Tool (V) from the toolbar.
Next, click on the layer containing the text (Note the Layer panel on the right hand side). In our example, it’s the text layer that contains the word “Cyber”.
Now, in order to rotate the text, we need to make sure that the markers are around the text. But if you don’t see any markers around the text, you can check the box Show Transform Controls in the options bar.
When the handles appear, position your cursor outside of one of the four corners until your cursor turns into a curved arrow icon.
With a curved arrow icon displayed, click-drag to rotate your text!
Tip: Hold Shift key to pull in a 15-degree increment. This can be a great and quick way to make sure the text is consistently aligned if you have a lot of text to rotate.
Rotate when rotation is completed you can press the key Enter to complete.
2. How to flip text in Photoshop
To flip text in Photoshop, you’ll need a project with text. First, use Move tool select on text.
Make sure the text layer is selected by clicking on it in the panel Layer.
Now enter Edit> Transform> Flip Horizontal.
Tip: Note that there is also an option to flip text vertically Flip Vertical!
Just like that, you have flipped your text. This can be really helpful when designing for media that require reverse printing.

3. How to make your text run vertically in Photoshop
To create vertical text in Photoshop, you can edit your existing text.
If you want to try a Photoshop text vertical orientation, you can rotate the text. However, you will have to continually edit your text while designing. Instead, with this technique, we will change the direction of the text itself.
First, use Move tool.
Make sure the layer containing the text is selected.
Now, with the text layer selected, select Text Tool (T) from the toolbar.
Now press the text navigation button on the top left.
Just by doing so, your text will turn vertically, and as you type it will also add new characters in the vertical position.
Tip: Fonts are usually created in landscape orientation. You may need to refine and adjust the spacing and proportions of the text. Use of text in portrait orientation should be limited. It can be difficult to read.
