According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the Hillside fire destroyed an area of ​​80 hectares, six houses and forced 1,300 people to evacuate. Meanwhile, a fire in nearby Riverside County burned 120 hectares of forest land and three houses and forced the county government to issue an evacuation order.

In Northern California, after a long effort to fight the fire, on October 30, the fire force also extinguished 60% of the giant fire Kincade. Up to this point, Kincade has burned nearly 300 houses and other properties, 31,000 hectares of forests were attacked by "fire aggressors".

Drought and strong winds in California, USA have caused a series of forest fires in recent months. According to the Weather Forecast Agency, although some fire areas have been controlled, red warnings are still kept in some areas.

Earlier, on October 27, the state government had to declare a state of emergency. Currently about 18 million people live in areas with red warning of the risk of forest fires.

In 2017, similar wildfires in Northern California claimed the lives of 44 people and destroyed thousands of construction sites.
