With Snapdragon 480 processor, not only Oppo but also other Android manufacturers are confident to bring 5G connectivity to low-cost devices.
A mysterious Oppo phone with the codename PEHT00 has just surfaced on Geekbench. The device has now passed China’s 3C certification. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 480 processor, which comes with a chip that supports 5G connectivity.
In the Geekbench test, the machine scored 525 single-core and 1560 multi-core points. Geekbench specifications also reveal the device comes with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 platform.
Recently, Vivo also launched a cheap Android device running Snapdragon 480 with 5G called Vivo Y31s. Thus, after Vivo, Oppo will be the successor manufacturer to bring to the market an affordable mobile device that supports 5G. Currently there is not much information about PEHT00, most likely the product will fall into the device segment of the A series and support low charging capacity. Let’s wait and see!
