On March 4, 2021, MPs in Minnesota proposed a resolution to condemn and call on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to immediately end the crime of “cold genocide and forced organ harvesting. from Falun Gong practitioners in China ”. Senate resolution (see here) SF1783 was introduced by Sen. Jim Abeler of the Republican Party, and is now supported by four other senators. Meanwhile, the resolution in the House of Representatives (see here) HF1906 was introduced by Rep. Steve Sandell and is currently supported by 13 other congressmen.
Cold genocide is a new term emerging in genocide research circles. This is an unusual form of genocide, overlooked by most people, human rights organizations and governments for its smoldering nature. A study published in 2018 by the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) – a non-political organization of scholars around the world was established for the purpose of research. research, teaching about the nature, causes and consequences of genocides – have called the persecution of Falun Gong in China a “cold genocide”. Organ harvesting is the act of harvesting the organs of a living or dead person without their prior consent. This crime is currently taking place on a large scale in China, in a system of prisons and concentration camps, where the regime uses prisoners of conscience as a source of organ harvesting. Prisoners of conscience are prisoners of conscience who do not violate the law, are arrested solely because of their political views, ethnicity or beliefs. In China, the two largest groups of prisoners of conscience abused for organ harvesting are Falun Gong practitioners and Uighur Muslims, including Tibetan Buddhists and non-believers prayer in the state church. The persecution of Falun Gong has been going on for 22 years. Meanwhile, the system of Uighur concentration camps in Xinjiang has been around since 2017.

It is known that before proposing this new resolution, in 2016, the Minnesota State Senate passed a resolution condemning the CCP’s crimes of forced organ harvesting.
In 2019, 50 Minnesota lawmakers, also sent letters to the Minnesota Medical Association, urging them to speak up about organ harvesting, and asked them to instruct Minnesota patients not to go to China in the form of transplant tourism, because it will unintentionally support the ongoing crime of organ harvesting in this country. In addition to state-level resolutions, the US Congress recently proposed the “End of Forced Organ Harvesting Act”, with the aim of requiring the CCP to stop harvesting organs from wage prisoners. center. The resolution calls for an end to the cold genocide and forcible organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China
WHEREAS, the ethical rules for transplantation are promulgated by the Minnesota Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the World Medical Association and the World Health Organization, the health sector has a responsibility to protect the rights of and the interests of patients wishing and wishing to have organ transplant surgery, as well as protecting the rights and interests of those who are at risk of organ harvesting for unscrupulous sale; and

WHEREAS, a report assessing the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of China by the United Nations Human Rights Council Working Group on Global Periodic Review in November 2018 calls China “to end prosecution and persecution of religions and beliefs both among Muslims, Christians, Tibetan Buddhists, and Falun Gong practitioners ”; and
WHEREAS, September 24, 2019, Mr. Hamid Sabi, Advisor to the Chinese Tribunal (China Tribunal), announced the Court’s conclusions to the United Nations Human Rights Council that forced domestic harvesting. organs from hundreds of thousands of prisoners of conscience have been carried out on a large scale for many years across China, and continues to this day; and
