The average number of good days in the 11 cities in the Fenwei Plain in August was 85.3%, an increase of 13.2 percentage points year-on-year; the PM2.5 concentration was 22 μg/m3, a year-on-year decrease of 15.4%. From January to August, the average number of good days was 69.1%, an increase of 12.1 percentage points year-on-year; the PM2.5 concentration was 46 μg/m3, a year-on-year decrease of 16.4%.

In August, among the 168 key cities, the air quality of Tangshan, Handan, and Zibo was relatively poor (from the bottom to the bottom 20); the air quality of Haikou, Huangshan, and Zhoushan was relatively good.
