The truth that reporters collect about Asanzo electronic products is completely contrary to the cult of Vietnamese brand with this 'peak of Japanese technology' slogan.
Tracking process at Cat Lai port and suspicious containers
In the middle of April, we have been staying at Cat Lai port (District 2, Ho Chi Minh City), where the customs clearance of containers has signs of suspicion related to fake Chinese products " made in Vietnam ".
After weeks of monitoring, we tracked down one of the routes of those packages imported from China.
Chinese goods from the port to Asanzo's factory
On the night of 18:00 am on April 19, we followed tractors with container numbers, respectively BSIU9102736, CSNU6092597 and FSCU8769644, leaving Cat Lai port. These are containers originating from Ningbo (Zhejiang, China) back to Vietnam a few days earlier.
Although the declaration of imported goods shows that Tran Tho Import-Export Investment Co., Ltd is a importer, the above tractors have advanced to Vinh Loc industrial zone (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City). ).
Unexpectedly, the stop of this convoy is the Asanzo Vietnam Group's factory in the industrial zone, where other containers are loading and unloading goods. By the morning, the containers that we "followed" continued to be loaded into Asanzo's factory.
According to customs clearance documents, the above goods are "parts of the hot air conditioner department" with the number of 4,700 units, purchased by Tran Thoan Company from Ningbo Aux Import and Export Co., Ltd. (China).
However, Tran Thoan was only a "ghost" unit because when we found the address 805/21 Nguyen Xien, Long Hoa Street (P.Long Thanh My, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City) that the company This is stated in the business registration license, new or not, this number does not exist.
In addition to the actual recognition, we are confirmed by the neighborhood leader here without any address, and no company operates in that alley.
Tracking on the bill of lading and following other containers leaving Cat Lai port, we continued to discover CLHU9096767 container – which was declared by Customs Customs Transport Service Trading Co., Ltd. – but the owner was really Thach Son Investment Cooperation Co., Ltd.
The shipment of air-conditioned equipment from China also returned to Asanzo's warehouse located in Tan Binh Industrial Park (Ho Chi Minh City).
Similar to Tran Thoan, Thach Son Company is also a "ghost" company. The address that this company registered (No. 174 / 1G1 Duong Quang Ham, Ward 5, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City) is another enterprise that has been in operation for a long time. The owner confirmed that there was no Thach Son Company renting premises here.
Information about businesses said that Tran Thoan has legal representative Tran Quoc Thoan, the date of business license issuance is July 11, 2018, the operation date is July 10, 2018. Thach Son's legal representative is Thach Ly Suone, the licensing date is January 17, 2018 and on January 16, 2018.
According to a source from customs, although "ma" but from mid-2018 to June 20, Tran Tho imported 77 declarations, equivalent to many of those container goods. Thach Son also imported 64 declarations since the beginning of 2019 until now. All are machinery parts from China.
Process of assembling TV screens at Asanzo factory that workers must follow the stamp "made in China"
New products are fine but stamps are torn off
During the time we wore the case, another container also came to Asanzo warehouse in Tan Binh district, bearing the number CAIU7080761.
This package was imported from China by Phuong Nguyen Production Investment Co., Ltd., on Cat Lai port on April 18, with the goods declared as electric rice cooker.
Phuong Nguyen Company has the same registered business address as Asanzo Group Joint Stock Company (No. 14, Street 4, Vinh Loc Residential Area, Binh Hung Hoa B, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City). .
In contact with us, Ms. To Thi Thanh Tuyen (residing in P. An Lac A, Binh Tan District) said that in April 2019, she wanted to buy 32-inch Asanzo TV at an Electronics store. Green in Long An.
"When I bought and paid the money, I asked the staff here to witness my opening to see information about the goods and components inside. The reason I did that was because a year ago, my family. bought one for use but very quickly degraded, for example, the image is not sharp, the sound is unknown … "- Tuyen said.
According to photos and videos provided by Ms. Tuyen, right at the shop, in the presence of Green Machine staff, stamps of product origin showed signs of being shaved. Ms. Tuyen is very annoyed that Asanzo brand is always advertised as a Vietnamese product according to Japanese technology.
Entering Asanzo's factory in Vinh Loc industrial park as a worker, we witnessed the supervisor of the workshop guiding the assembly of television screens according to the pre-printed process.
In it, there is a very meticulous step, which is to put the stamp inside the back of the product with "made in China", to replace with Asanzo's stamp. Comparing the "made in China" stamp at the factory, there are similarities with the remainder on the TV that Ms. Tuyen has bought.

"Slap" on consumers who love Vietnamese goods
As mentioned, Asanzo always "blasted" himself as a Vietnamese product with "Japanese technology peak". Even the media praised Asanzo for the blue sky with a mission to "stop the progress of Chinese goods" not long ago.
Not to mention, Asanzo also officially entered the list of 640 enterprises achieving the title of High Quality Vietnamese Goods in 2018. What we have gathered is like a slap on the consumers who always put their best believe in Vietnamese goods.
For objective reasons, the reporter of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper only had the opportunity to discuss with Mr. Pham Van Tam – Chairman of Asanzo Group – regarding the case of television screen as a reflection of readers.
Mr. Tam admitted that he did not produce: "Currently, TV products are assembled". However, he licked it with the allegation that the company clearly stated that it was "Vietnamese origin", meaning not "made in Vietnam".
"In addition to stamp China, my company ensures that television products cannot have that … When using Asanzo's products, we guarantee the customers' rights and are responsible for the warranty period. If you do not want to, you can bring the Green Machine back to you "- Mr. Tam said.
Also acknowledged by the Chairman of Asanzo Group, there are some components inside the TV, the company still has to import from overseas suppliers.
"Not all of Vietnam produces all the components inside the television. My party only assembles and checks the quality of the product, and will be responsible for the consumer. So, outside the product. , the company stated that Vietnam origin "- Mr. Tam argued.
Asanzo's deletion of the Chinese mark, recording "Vietnam origin", according to lawyer Dang Thanh Tri (Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association) is not in accordance with regulations.
Paragraph 1, Article 3 of Decree No. 31/2018 / ND-CP (detailing the Law on Foreign Trade Management regarding origin of goods) stipulates: "Origin of goods is country, group of countries, or territories where production of all goods or the place of final processing of goods in the event of multiple countries, groups of countries or territories participating in the production of such goods ".
Mr. Tri added that Clause 11, Article 3 of Decree 31 also states that the processing and processing of goods is the main production process that creates basic characteristics of goods.
The basic concept of change is defined in clause 12 of this article: "The fundamental change is that goods are transformed through the production process, to form new commercial items, different in shape, count basic features, characteristics, or uses compared to the original goods ".
In addition, electrical products of Asanzo brand still violate regulations on labeling. Clause 3, Article 7 of Decree No. 43/2017 / ND-CP stipulating that goods imported into Vietnam but not shown on the label or showing insufficient contents in Vietnamese must have supplementary labels showing those mandatory content in Vietnamese and keep the original label of goods.
Lawyer Tri said that based on the above regulations, products imported from China by Asanzo and "related" enterprises in Vietnam and exported to third countries must be clearly stated " from China".
