LINE expanded in Vietnam and sought human resources

LINE, the Japanese OTT application, plans to expand in Vietnam and look for manpower in this market.

Entering Vietnam market in 2017 with the acquisition of Adways Technology Vietnam technology company and officially renamed as LINE Vietnam. Up to now, the number of technology engineers at LINE Vietnam is 100 employees, double the number in the new stage of operation. The company said it is expanding more facilities in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to attract and create cooperation opportunities with talented resources.

Vietnam is a young country with a large number of programmers, information technology engineers, startup entrepreneurs, … who have a great influence on the economic development of the country. Therefore, the company said that accessing and exploiting this quality human resource is an important step in the company’s development strategy.

“Recruitment demand in the information technology industry is increasing and Vietnam is one of the countries with extremely impressive technology human resources,” said LINE’s representative. “They are young, extremely intelligent and have a lot of patience. That is why we have been wanting to create many opportunities and projects for Vietnamese talents. These opportunities or projects do not simply stop at creating economic benefits, but also are memorable milestones in the careers of potential young people ”.

LINE Vietnam will hold the “Opening Day” event on March 31st here in Hanoi. During the event, LINE will share more about the company’s development path as well as the potential that LINE promises to bring to the Vietnamese market, along with approaching technology talents in Vietnam to combine cooperation.
