The two companies have been awarded technical awards by the US National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
According to Deadline, the American Academy has published a list of companies that have won the 72nd Emmy Awards for Science and Engineering. This prestigious award is given to honor individuals, organizations or companies who have contributed to the common development standard of science and technology.
Both won prizes in the OLED reference screen category, for LG the premium OLED TV model and Sony for the TRIMASTER line of professional monitors. This is a testament to the outstanding image quality of OLED technology, recognized by the entire industry. LG OLED TV colors are highly accurate, meeting the need for Hollywood image quality testing.

As for Sony monitors, this is not the first time they have received this award. The Japanese company has a long history of producing industry reference screen models, which are widely used by both Hollywood studios and broadcasters around the world. More than 8 years ago, Sony’s professional line of OLED displays received this Emmy award for the first time.
