Leak Benchmark: AMD Zen 2 12 Core reaches 5 GHz and 16 Core reaches 4.3GHz

i9 – Only 5 days left, the most anticipated CPU line, AMD Ryzen 2 will be officially announced at Computex 2019 event. However, that doesn't mean that the leaked information will be less valuable, but they even more attractive than ever.

Information about AMD Ryzen 3000's flagship products will soon be released and leaked from AdoreTV. And if this information has real weight, then these chips are indeed "beasts."

This leak comes from one of Youtube AdoredTV's sources, which was also the source that leaked AMD's upcoming X570 chipset scheme. The leaked information is also very suitable for some other information about the online Ryzen 3000 CPU discovered.

The chips in the story are "Core" respectively, 16 Core is benchmarked on Cinebench R15 at a rate of 4.6 GHz and "demonic spirits" 12 Core with clock rate boost of up to 5.0 GHz, which is "assumed" to be parameters that AMD provides to motherboard manufacturers.

AMD Zen 2 Ryzen 3000 16 Core – 3.2 GHz basic clock, 4.3GHz Turbo, Overclock to 4.2 GHz on every Core and Benchmark.

Let's start with the 16 Core CPU. With what is being targeted, this chip has a basic clock 3.2 GHz and only boosts up to level 4.3 GHz.

If the source of the leaked information is correct, this 16 Core chip can be overclocked on all cores and get a score of 4278 Points in Cinebench R15. Compared to other CPUs released, Ryzen 7 2700X 8 Core 1828 Points, Threadripper 1950X 16 Core, reached 3055 Points and Intel i9-7960X 16 Core achieved 3163 Point in the same multi-core test. Even, i9-7960X must be Overclock up to 4.6 GHz can be compete with AMD Zen 2 Ryzen 3000 16 Core according to rumors.

These results indicate that Zen 2 offers 10% improvement in IPC with higher clock speeds thanks to the 10 nm process. Combined with double multipliers, the AMD Ryzen 3000 easily achieves double multiplier points compared to its predecessor.

AMD Zen 2 Ryzen 3000 12 Core – 5.0 GHz Turbo

Continuing with Ryzen 3000's "speed demon", this is a 12 Core chip with an unspecified original clock, but is said to be capable of accelerating up to 5.0 GHz as soon as it "smashes". This chip is said to have appeared in recent times, presented to motherboard manufacturers.

If the information on the upper 16 Core CPU is correct, according to previous CPU experience, this 12 Core chip will be capable of overclocking to 4.2+ GHz on all cores. Surely this chip will become extremely popular for the tech-loving community, thanks to its clock and high number of multipliers. We might even be looking at a "hundred good" card, with standard gaming performance and the ability to squeeze terrible multi-core performance.
