Mario roy was accused on Tuesday of having harassed and intimidated for several months (between November 1, 2017 and December 20, 2018 lawyer Me Eliane Hogue, reports La Presse. He appeared in this case Tuesday, at the Montreal courthouse.

More specifically, he is charged with criminal harassment and intimidation of a person associated with the justice system.

The man is not unknown to the Bar since the syndic accuses him of having illegally practiced the profession of lawyer when he is not a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec. In particular, he used his Facebook page to provide legal opinions. This page has since been closed because it violated the terms of use of the social network.

It was in this context that Mr. Roy allegedly harassed and intimidated Mr. Hogue. The main person denies all these accusations and intends to prove his not guilty. Rather, he believes that it is the Barreau du Québec that is harassing him.

Rather, he thinks of using his time in court and a jury to demonstrate the theses he is putting forward, in particular that the Bar and the Directorate of Youth Protection operate a child abduction network.

Since the start of the pandemic, Mario Roy has also been the leader of the anti-mask movement. He has already participated in several protests to defend the freedom of citizens to choose whether or not to wear the face covering.

Me Hogue for his part did not respond to our requests for interviews. She has been a member of the Bar since 1989 and practices primarily in litigation and professional liability cases.
