After the launch of the model KTM 390 Adventure at EICMA 2019, the Austrian automaker continues to develop a smaller version of the KTM 250 Adventure to prepare to hit the market in 2020.
According to the latest information from India, where KTM’s factory is located, it is expected that KTM will officially launch the KTM 250 Adventure model in mid-2020. As a lower version of the KTM 390 Adventure, the 250 Adventure model will be omitted. remove some high-end equipment to have a softer price.
Accordingly, details such as LED headlamps or integrated Bluetooth screen will not appear on KTM 250 Adventure, instead of traditional halogen headlights and conventional color screens. However, the car still has LED position lights to increase the modernity of the appearance.
The suspension will include a pair of forks up front and a single cylindrical spring shock absorber, both with longer journeys than the KTM 250 Duke or RC250. Unlike KTM 250 Duke that only uses a digital clock, KTM 250 Adventure will be equipped with a TFT color screen, but does not have the function to connect to the phone by Bluetooth.
Other notable highlights on the KTM 250 Adventure include the trellis steel frame and cast aluminum rear wheels. The wheels of the car are 19-inch cast wheels at the front and 17 inches behind, the fuel tank capacity of the car is 14.5 liters.
In terms of power, KTM 250 Adventure uses the same engine as the 250 Duke model. This is a single cylinder engine, DOHC, 248.8 cc capacity, liquid-cooled, producing 29.5 horsepower and maximum torque of 24 Nm.
As mentioned above, KTM 250 Adventure will be officially on the market in the summer of 2020. Previously, KTM 390 Adventure will go on sale in January 2020.
