The iPhone has a feature that allows you to adjust the brightness of the device’s screen based on the brightness of the environment. That is, darker environments generate a less intense brightness on the screen while brightly lit environments cause the brightness to become stronger automatically. If you want, you can disable this tool. Here’s how to do that.

Disable automatic screen brightness

The Auto Brightness feature is available on iPhones running on iOS 7 or higher. To disable or enable this tool on your device, tap Settings and walk the path Accessibility > Screen and Text Size. In this section, you can enable or disable the function.
