An 11-year-old girl in California said the car iPhone 6 My fire caught fire. Kayla Ramos said she was holding her iPhone when she saw the spark and immediately threw the phone away.
According to information, Ramos said that iPhone 6 burned a few holes in the blanket after he threw it. She said she usually only uses the iPhone 6 to watch YouTube videos and occasionally let her children play games on the phone.
Ramos's mother, Maria Adata, said she contacted Apple and was instructed to bring the phone to an Apple service center. Apple will also provide families with a new phone and investigate the cause of the explosion. Even so, Apple did not comment on the accident.
Apple often says that there are a number of reasons that can cause an iPhone to catch fire, including using unauthorized charging cables and non-genuine repairs. However, in Ramos's case, the family said they did not let the iPhone 6 fall into these conditions.
This is not the first time that iPhone has been burnt. In the past, there were cases where iPhone was overheated due to users leaving it under the pillow. Two years ago, a video spread on Twitter announced a burning iPhone 7 Plus. In December, an Ohio man said that his iPhone XS Max had caught fire and exploded in his pocket.
